Kirsty Ella Laing | Unplugged Elopements

Kirsty (aka Kirk or Kirky) is a creative soul, proud mum to three little legends - Ella, Ash and Leo, and co-owner, celebrant and coordinator of Unplugged Elopements.  

A former music industry events coordinator, Kirsty's always been drawn to bringing people together to create memorable experiences and she's excited to hit the dance floor.

When she's not working, you'll typically find her in the garden or getting stuck into her latest creative project! She’s generally happiest outdoors and loves the simple things in life - so makes a point of surrounding herself with good music and great people. 

Cancer has touched the lives of so many people Kirsty loves dearly, including her Dad, Nan, Aunt, Cousin as well as many friends.  

As a celebrant, she has walked alongside families through loss and has seen firsthand the impact cancer can have on individuals, families and communities. 

Taking part in Dancing with the Stars is her way of giving back and helping raise vital funds for Cancer Council's incredible work.  

Kirsty has always loved dancing and the joy it brings, so being able to combine something she loves with a cause that means so much to her is truly special.
