Hi, I’m Laura Gutierrez, founder of The Love Approach Project, where I support people in navigating stress, uncertainty, emotional overwhelm, and life’s many transitions with more clarity, connection, and emotional steadiness.
Health is something I deeply value, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally too. Through my work, I see every day how interconnected we truly are, and how important support, community, and human connection become during life’s most challenging moments.
When I learned more about the work Cancer Council NSW does supporting people and families navigating the experience of cancer, saying yes to Stars of the North felt deeply meaningful to me.
Because beyond the statistics and the fundraising, there are real human beings going through life-changing experiences that can feel overwhelming, isolating, and incredibly hard to carry alone.
And no one should have to navigate that alone.
So yes… I said yes to dancing 💃
To stepping outside my comfort zone.
To learning something new.
To contributing in the best way I can.
To me, dancing for this event feels like a beautiful metaphor for life itself:
we don’t always know the next step, but we keep moving forward together.
By participating in Stars of the North, I’m helping raise funds that support Cancer Council NSW and the incredible work they do accompanying people and families through one of the hardest experiences life can bring.
