We are joining the 2025 production of Stars of Armidale Dance for Cancer to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future.
Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, we are bringing everyone together to show off our dance moves to raise much needed funds and show my support to those in our community affected by cancer.
As many of you know, our lives have been impacted several times over by this disease. A few years ago, at the age of 10, William lost his dad to cancer, followed by his uncle. When I was his age, I vividly recall attending chemo appointments with my grandmother. In the past few years my father has battled this disease, but thanks to research, is in remission. Cancer takes too many too soon. Please support us on this page to support cancer research, advocacy, prevention programs and local vital support services for Australians living with cancer.

Dancing update
It's now been about 5 weeks of learning how to dance. Hmmm....I now REALLY know how my students feel when I introduce something unfamiliar to them...and what it feels like to be totally eclipsed by a younger, faster brain!
A late start...
We have just had our second dance lesson...and I have discovered that I am a slow learner and William has to be both my partner and dance teacher! This is going to be interesting....Thank you to my Sponsors
