Nat Rouessart
Born and raised in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, I spent my teenage years in the Hills District before settling on the stunning Central Coast, which I now proudly call home. By day, I’m an auto technician at O’Brien Windscreens. You might have seen me in a few ads (or maybe not, but let’s pretend you have). By night… well, I’m usually at the gym, rowing surf boats, playing sport, or cracking dad jokes that I find far funnier than anyone else does.
I love staying active and working in a team, whether it’s at work, in the gym, or out on the water rowing surf boats. But dancing? That’s a whole different ball game. Let’s just say my moves are more "car crash" than "choreography." That said, I’ll do just about anything for a good cause, and this one is especially close to my heart.
Cancer has impacted my family in deeply personal ways. My grandfather, whom I never got to meet, passed away from lung cancer before I was born. My uncle fought his own battle, and more recently, my partner’s father has been undergoing treatment for throat cancer. These experiences have only strengthened my commitment to making a difference.
So, while I might have the rhythm of a malfunctioning windscreen wiper, I’m ready to step (or stumble) onto the dance floor to raise much-needed funds. If my two left feet can bring in donations and a few laughs, then I’ll consider it a win!

Make Me Sweat for a Cause! Every $1K = 1KM!
Ever wanted to see me suffer for a good cause? Well, now’s your chance!
As if agreeing to take part in Dancing for Cancer—the Coast’s very own Dancing with the Stars—wasn’t challenging enough, I’ve decided to up the stakes. Because let’s be honest, jazz dancing is already going to test me (coordination is not my strong suit), so why not add some extra pain into the mix?
Here’s the deal: for every $1,000 raised, I’ll cover 1KM—either running, rowing, biking, or hitting the ski erg. And to keep things fun (or terrifying for me), I’m letting my Instagram followers (@natmrou_) vote on which form of torture I take on each time. So the more you donate, the more I’ll be sweating it out!
Why Am I Doing This?
Because cancer doesn’t discriminate. It has impacted my family in ways I can’t even put into words—my Pop passed away from lung cancer before I was born, my uncle fought his own battle, and right now, my partner’s father is undergoing treatment for throat cancer. Watching what he’s going through is beyond heartbreaking, and I know I’m not alone in this. We all know someone who has faced this fight.
That’s why I’m doing this. For my family. For yours. For everyone who has ever had to hear the words, “You have cancer.”

Every dollar raised goes directly to the Cancer Council, funding life-saving research, prevention programs, and support services for patients and their families. Whether it’s $5 or $50, every donation counts. And every donation means I’ll be working even harder to earn it—one sweaty kilometre at a time!
