Pat Conaghan MP | Member for Cowper
Pat Conaghan has proudly served as the Federal Member for Cowper since 2019, representing communities across the Mid North Coast for the past six years. Born and raised in Kempsey, Pat began his career as a police officer before rising to the rank of Detective. He later moved to Sydney to work in Drug Enforcement while completing his Law degree and eventually became a Police Force Prosecutor.
After leaving the force, Pat drew on his legal expertise and commitment to community service to run three successful small businesses, including law practices focused on defence and immigration.
Pat’s motivation for joining Stars of Coffs Coast Dance is deeply personal. He wants to help raise funds for Cancer Council NSW so it can continue its vital work in cancer research, prevention programs, and support services for patients and families. Stepping onto the dance floor is a new challenge, but Pat is ready to make a difference for people across the region who are facing cancer.
