Peter has been involved with all aspects of Community Theatre for just under 50 years, sharing this time as an Industrial mechanic for 35 years completing multiple trades, specialist qualifications and specialising in Electric material handling equipment and LPG, 15 years as an NRMA road service patrol whilst running a parts department for a local dealership.

Peter moved to the Northern Rivers in 2003 and joined The Ballina Players that same year, currently as the President, Treasurer, Licensee and Life Member, and recently purchased Ballina Colour Copy that he runs with his wife of 18 months Karen.

The impact of a loved one or friend hearing the words, you have been diagnosed is far more than just one person’s difficult journey, They pervade Community, Colleagues,  Volunteer organisations and families, having lost my sister to a long battle and seeing the anguish that bought to my remaining family to not two years later having to share with them I too had been diagnosed highlighted the human face of those left behind, and the beautiful people each of us come across in the journey to find a cure, or rest comfortably. This is for those that are there to help.
