My name is Sireesha Janyavula and I am working as a Product Manager at one of the Insurance Software companies based in Sydney. I have been living around Parramatta for about 12 years and learning Bollywood dance for 5 years. Dancing for me is fun and thanks to Dr Kanan Shah of NIPA, I've been able to share the joy by performing at various events.
I'm excited to be part of the 'Stars of Western Sydney 2021' and looking forward to the upcoming event.
I have lived in Western Sydney ever since arriving in Australia in 1995 at the age of 14. I began dancing shortly after at the age of 16, ballroom being the first style of dance that I learnt. After high school I completed a Bachelor of Arts (Dance) Degree at UNSW and have taught and performed in a variety of dance styles ever since, including Latin, Bollywood and of course Belly Dance.
Neale's love of Ballroom dancing began in Canberra as a 7 year old. He trained in the UK between 1988-1994 as an amateur dancing with a Scottish girl with whom he became Scottish Amateur Latin Champions, British Closed finalists and British Open Latin Semi-Finalists. In 1994 he organised a successful tryout with Nicole Vezina in Montreal, Canada, they trained together in the UK, and after what was to be a short visit to see family and compete in Sydney, they decided to settle in Australia, marrying and opening Byrnes Dance Image in 1995.
Neale’s most memorable career highlight was competing at the World Pro Latin Championships in Sun City, South Africa and performing on stage at the Sydney 2000 Olympics Closing Ceremony.
Neale competed against his brother, John, throughout his career - John owns JJ's Dance Studio in South London, UK whilst Nicole competed against her sister, Tanya Cardinal, throughout her career – Tanya ran her studio Viva Dance in Toronto until her passing in 2016 from Neurolymphomatosis, a very rare form of cancer.
After retiring from competition, Neale focused on his studio, advancing his qualifications and becoming more involved in the industry behind the scenes as a Chairman. He ran the National Capital and South Pacific Dancesport Championships as CEO of FATD in 2013/14 and is now President of Dance Move Engage which prioritises grass roots local events as well as the Wollongong National DanceSport Championships.
Neale says he wouldn't change anything in his career as it has led to dancing with and marrying the love of his life, 25 years working actively in the DanceSport industry, and his beautiful family including his three daughters, all of whom dance: Nikita, Naomi and Natalia.

From sport and fitness to slinky, sensual movement, Deb believes in blending artistry with athleticism and that both joy and empowerment are available to EVERY body.
I grew up in Blacktown going to school at Blacktown West Public School and Evans High School. I started dancing with my sister at a young age and developed a love for it! I taught myself everything I know, before being invited to compete in Channel 7s Dance Boss in 2018! My team, ‘The Maccas Team’ finished as semi finalists! Since then I have travelled Beijing, China to teach dance & I currently teach curriculum compliment dance lessons in primary schools around NSW.
I have lived and worked in the Western Sydney area for more than 40 years. I am a rock n roll dance instructor and have taught dancing for at least 15 years, most recently at Bee Boppers dance school, St Marys. I am now semi-retired and looking forward to continuing to teach part-time. As a cancer survivor myself I understand the importance of research and treatments and I am very excited to be a part of Stars of Western Sydney 2021.

My name is Raymund and I have danced and taught Salsa for 21 years. I teach in the Parramatta/Blacktown area as my goal has always been to grow the Latin dance scene in western Sydney. Urban Salsa was established in 2005 but it wasn’t until 2019 that we opened our own studio. We strive to provide the best classes to ensure our students are having as much fun as they are learning. It is well known that there is a lot of passion in Latin dancing and we want to share that passion with as many people as possible.
